Winchester Science Centre – Mural
Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium is a unique, exciting interactive centre which is an educational charity. It was set up with the specific purpose of promoting the knowledge and understanding of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). It was previously known as INTECH – the name changed on 24th October 2013. The charity was founded in 1985 by like-minded people in business, industry and higher education in response to the local shortage of scientists, engineers and technicians.
The Centre would like for our students to assist in the redevelopment of a workshop space, primarily used to deliver educational workshops, by either supplying bespoke artwork or working with the centre to design and create a mural. The centre is keen that any work in the room aids in their mission to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. As the centre is a charity, this is an unpaid opportunity.
If you are interested in this opportunity please contact Paul Cook directly, via: PaulCook@winchestersciencecentre.org with a brief covering letter and any ideas about the space that you may have.
