The Pavilion – AR Design Studio Competition
You are invited to attend AR Design Studio’s public exhibition of the proposed new cricket pavilion at North Walls will be on display at the existing cricket pavilion, North Walls, Winchester on Saturday 22nd October 9.30am-1.30pm and Sunday 23rd October 11am-3pm.
The Pavilion Project will be introducing a design competition for a Weather Vane to sit atop the completed Pavilion. Students from the Winchester School of Art will be invited to provide a proposal for the scheme with the winning entry becoming a commissioned piece that will take pride of place on the roof of the proposed pavilion. The judges will be looking for a piece that sits harmoniously with its immediate and wider setting. We hope to launch the competition in 2017.
