Ruth Bouchard Self-Portrait Prize
There are just two weeks left to enter the 2017 Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize and be in the running to win £10,000. Entries have been flooding in, but there is still time to get involved. The deadline for submission is 12th APRIL 2017.
The Prize is open to all artists living and working in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and accepts works in any recognised medium including drawing, painting, watercolour, print, collage, photo-collage, mixed media, and low-relief sculpture and construction. There are no size restrictions for submissions, and no age restrictions for entrants.
120 artists will be shortlisted for the exhibition at Piano Nobile Kings Place, from 17 May to 22 September 2017. A prestigious panel of judges including Dr Xavier Bray, Director of the Wallace Collection; Alastair Sooke, Art Critic at The Daily Telegraph and BBC Broadcaster; Charlotte Mullins, art critic and author; Marilyn Scott, Director of The Lightbox Gallery; Richard Borchard, son of Ruth Borchard; and the 2015 winner Shanti Panchal.
