Oxford Fashion Week

We are seeking volunteers for our upcoming season of runway shows spanning Sep-Nov 2015. Each runway show will exhibit a selection of brilliant emerging designers from around the world. We are seeking volunteers in each city who wish to gain experience through us during our upcoming season of runway shows. Each city features a single day of up to 4x runway shows each featuring up to 60x looks from 6-8 designers. My role as the Backstage Manager is to plan the backstage operation, deliver a meticulous execution of the running order and to take responsibility for the overall care of the designer’s garments. My team in each city will consist of 12 dressers. Each will be responsible for dressing models, styling appropriately and giving the correct assistance for designer’s garments. Not only do I believe it will greatly open up a range of opportunities for your students to work for different designers, press and buyers but is also fantastic work experience for students to expand their CV / resumé and their professional network.
