WSA Opportunities

Marmalade on Toast are offering two students the opportunity to join our Design team as an Intern over the Easter and Summer of 2017 at our studio in Winchester. The internships will be for 4 weeks over the Easter holidays and for 6 weeks in the summer holidays.

An exciting opportunity to develop and explore a new area for the studio. Working Closely with the Senior Designer and Creative Director, We’re looking for talented designers and Illustrators to join a small team to bring their individual style creating and developing graphics and surface pattern designs.

Creativity is very important to Marmalade. We’re looking for confident and creative people looking to bring their individual voice. The ideal candidate will be hard working and comfortable working in a busy studio environment, reporting into the Senior Designer and collaborating with other creatives.

You will be:

• Creating and developing graphics and patterns
• Required to plan and organise you work
• Required to adhere to deadlines, making sure work is completed within the specified timeframe

Ideal candidate.

• Highly creative, bringing your own versatile style
• Good understanding and ability to take designs from concept and creation through to a finished product.
• Ability to take physical designs to a digital format
• A good working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Demonstrate good time-keeping and organisational skills
• Demonstrate intuitive approach and flexible work ethic
• Good communicator
• Be a good team player
