Laser Cutting Assistants – Sophia Victoria Joy
Sophia Victoria Joy Ltd is a company specialising in beautiful customised gifts. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who has either a background in laser cutting or an interest in learning, to join our fast paced team in our studio in Warnford.
The Laser Cutter position is one of the key production roles within the company and is crucial to the successful day to day running of the business.
The role will involve:
- Operating 3 Trotec Speedy 400 Laser Cutting/Engraving Machines
- Maintenance of machines and peripherals to ensure efficient operation
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience operating and working on Trotec Laser Machines (desired but not essential)
- Use of Trotec Control 10 Software (desired)
- Adobe Illustrator/Coral Draw Experience – Vector Based Software
- Strong eye for detail to ensure high accuracy of work delivered
- Good organisation skills
- Efficient & conscientious manner
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
- Strong time management skills
- Friendly and approachable manor
- Ability to work well as a team
