Internship at Corsetorium
Corsetorium is a lingerie brand, specializing in luxury foundation garments and corseted dresses with selected stockists worldwide.
We are looking for a self motivated individual with an urge to develop and learn new skills to join our small team in London from June – September to work on our latest collection and showpieces.
The ideal candidate would have a strong eye for detail and good machine/ hand sewing skills. A keen interest in the high-end / luxury sector /lingerie would be an advantage.
Duties will include:
- machine and hand sewing with delicate silks and laces
- beading, embroidery
- sourcing trims /fabrics
- assist creating bespoke garments using traditional couture techniques
- checking items from press returns
- helping the designer with generall tasks in the studio
Requirements:
- good sewing skills
- reliable, punctual, committed
- able to travel into central London every day
This is a fantastic opportunity for current/graduate fashion/lingerie student or someone with good sewing skills to gain further experience in that field and to get an insight into how a fashion label works. Travel expenses within central London will be reimbursed.
