Inspiring Enterprise – Self-Employment Workshops
The University of Winchester is excited to be working on a new project to help budding entrepreneurs called Inspiring Enterprise which has been launched thanks to a significant grant secured from the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund (ESF). The project has been launched to help students and unemployed graduates who are keen to start their own business or social enterprise, freelance in their field or become self-employed.
As part of the project we offer one to one help and advice, small group workshop sessions, training days, valuable network events, helpful guides, industry specific mentors and much, much more, all for free!
In order to qualify students must be 18+, live within or close to the M3 corridor, and either be enrolled on a full time course (FE,HE) or if recently graduated, they must be unemployed. This can include students who are graduating this year.
Workshops are being held in Southampton and Guildford and there are funds available to help students with travel expenses. All workshops and mentoring services are provided by current entrepreneurs who have the skills and experience to assist participants with their start up journey.
