Design Intern Position – University of Southampton/Jaguar Land Rover Project
We are looking for a creative individual to develop and produce design concepts for the HI:DAVe project – ‘Human Interaction: Designing Automation in Vehicles’ – a collaboration between Jaguar Landrover, Cambridge University and University of Southampton.
The right applicant will be able to communicate novel interactions between driver and car in autonomous vehicles through graphic design, video and/or animation.
You will be:
- Proficient at Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Able to convert files for different uses (e.g., preserving quality/reducing file size for use in documents, presentations, etc)
- Have great graphic/video communication skills: able to express reasons for design choices
This internship is 1 day a week until the end of January, pref on Monday or Thursday, though open to negotiation. This is a paid position. The project is a part of the Transportation Research Group, at University of Southampton’s Boldrewood Innovation Campus.
