Design Assistant Position – no added sugar
No added sugar is a children’s wear luxury fashion brand based in Petersfield, Hampshire, that designs a full range of clothes for both Girls and Boys.
They are looking for a full-time paid Design Assistant to join their Design & Development Studio to assist in all areas; design, garment technology and production.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong can-do attitude. The role is varied and hands on and presents an excellent opportunity for a graduate to begin their design career.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the designer in creating new collections
- Creating CADs of the new season collection
- Updating technical drawings
- Updating workbooks
- Measuring and preparing samples throughout the season
- Attend fit sessions with the department
- Assisting the production manager where needed
- Responsible for sending and tracking incoming packages
- Maintain a tidy and organised department
Unfortunately you will need your own transport as there is no public transport to our studio.
