Creative Illustrator / Graphic Artist Internship – Maru/edr
We are pleased to share this opportunity with Maru/edr, to provide a visual representation of our company mission ‘to paint better pictures faster’ in a series of outputs which could be used, but is not limited to; decoration for the office environment, digital use etc. The outputs should not only convey our company mission, but also demonstrate the 2 core areas of the business – Technology and Advisory Insight working together.
We are a forward thinking organisation which delivers high quality insight at speed to some of the biggest brands in the UK. Recent clients include: Lloyds Banking Group, British Gas, The Telegraph, Fat Face, Channel 4, SSP and British Airways. By combining technology and advisory insight, we offer these clients a flexible ‘Voice of the Customer’ toolset to listen to customers, interpret their needs and delight by turning feedback into clear business action.
This is a paid position funded via the University’s ExCel Internship Programme and starts in January 2017. The role is being advertised as a 4 week internship however, because it is a term-time internship, the successful applicant will work this at approximately 10 hours per week, to allow it to fit around study.
Please note, this internship will close on Monday 2nd January as they are keen for someone to start on the project early in the new year.
As an applicant you should be:
- Experienced at interpreting a brief and ensuring it is understood.
- Able to enact a creative vision to confidently develop an engaging set of designs.
- Able to manage own time and meet deadlines
- A self-starter who is willing to ask the right questions around the business in order to immerse themselves in Maru/edr and provide greater insight into the brief
- Creative in interpreting the brief and desire to gain experience within a commercial environment.
- Confident in creating art that can be used in a more traditional way or digitally within the same project, ensuring a cohesive theme
