10 Days Chalk – Invigilators
We are looking for students to volunteer to invigilate during the 10 days CHALK exhibition. We are an official partner venue for 10 days, the Winchester Biennial. Our exhibition opens on Saturday 10th October and runs through to Saturday, 24 October 2015. The exhibition is open 10am to 4pm everyday, but closed on Sundays.
This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity. Students will be given information about the exhibition and festival and details of how to invigilate the particular exhibits. This offers them experience invigilating in a gallery (The Winchester Gallery) for their CV. It offers them a chance to develop skills in interacting with the public and audiences; to learn more about how a gallery operates; to delve deeper into the works included in this exhibition; and to ensure the safety of the gallery visitors and of the artworks in the show.
