Keep it up! Your individual feedback is now posted.<\/p>\n<p>Quite rightly some of you noted that digital portfolios are more relevant for some types of job than others, and even then it would be very unusual indeed for an online profile to be the ONLY basis upon which a hiring decision was made. Yes there is lots of exciting innovation in this space, but don\u2019t get too carried away by the hype! Taking a critical perspective on whatever issue being discussed is definitely a good approach (and by \u201ccritical\u201d I don\u2019t mean \u201crubbishing\u201d the idea, but instead presenting a range of positive and negative perspectives on a topic so that an informed decision can be made)<\/p>\n<p>So now make sure that you apply the points you have discussed in topic 3 to the development of your own digital profiles &#8211; remember that the other element of assessed work for this module is to reflect at the end of it on how your own professional profiles have developed.<\/p>\n<p>You will find that topic 4 is also very \u201cbig\u201d \u2013 <strong>this doesn\u2019t mean longer and longer posts please<\/strong> (we warned about word limits in the last feedback) \u2013 as long as you acknowledge the broad scope of the topic, it is absolutely fine to focus on a specific aspect of it. Collectively, there should be a good coverage of a range of issues when everyone\u2019s posts are all taken together. We will be interested to see what \u201cethical\u201d aspects you each consider to be particularly important (or not important.<\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019ve said to many of you on your individual feedback, now that you are comfortable with the style and structure of the module, why not experiment a little? Try some video or audio input to your posts, for example.
