From searching a place to work, to create your online brand, the online media services play an important role in your life. Not just that our post will be used by the political opponents in the future against us (according to Trenor Kanfman [1] ), but there are no more days left until our full image can be deduced from the online environment. The big variety of examples gave the students the opportunity to see the growing online influence in the employment area and thus in the personal field.At first, I felt the degree in which the social networks are used is not representing a major factor for the selection of workers. Later, I realized that the online space is not just an area for fun and enjoyment, serving only for personal life, but it represents the backbone of our dynamic CV. However this CV is composed from the activity of social networks such as Twitter, LindedIn or the personal blog, it seems it counts for more more than a haft of companies. For me, the most relevant learning aspect arose from the wide range of the employers which are expecting to see not just a formal online profile. They are looking to find if the workers activity is compatible with their desired places. Moreover, I found as an interesting challenge, which allowed me to express my opinion regarding the Harvard article (it can be found here http:\/\/cristiansima93.blogspot.co.uk\/2014\/03\/comment-for-httpblogshbrorg201301the.html ), because of its thought-provoking ideas.Now, having read the articles for this topic and having watched the videos, I feel that I understand why social media has became so important in the last 10 years. As a consequence of this, I have completed my online profiles where there was a section which was incomplete. In addition to the existing accounts, I have created my profile on the about.me website. I find this website as a sum of all my online personas. This is the list of the websites which represent me on Internet:https:\/\/plus.google.com\/+CristianSima93\/abouthttps:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cristian.sima?ref=tn_tnmnhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/Cristian_Simahttp:\/\/about.me\/cristian.simahttp:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pub\/cristian-sima\/65\/618\/251http:\/\/vsh.ro\/cristian_simaskype::\/cristian.sima93The knowledge that I gain in this topic is essential for my career. Not only that now I represent a better candidate, which has a complete professional online profile, for a work place, but I can use the experience from the employer perspective. For instance, these skills can be useful in order to advise my father regarding his company in order to increase its online activity and to check the online profiles of his workers. These checks seem a waste of time, but the topic 3 made me to understand that they are not simple workers, they represent the brand of company and they have an actively contribution thought their actions.In addition, I have provided a personal feedback regarding the topic 3, which can be accessed here http:\/\/cristiansima93.blogspot.co.uk\/2014\/03\/uosm2008-topic-3-my-personal-feedback.html .References:[1] The Onion, 'Report: Every Potential 2040 President Already Unelectable Due To Facebook’, YouTube, Online Video [Published: 26\/04\/2012, Accessed online on 7\/03\/2014 at : http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A2bniFJigI0 ]"}
