She was previously Course Director of the Brunel MBA at Brunel Business School where she also led a team to develop the UK&#8217;s first cross-faculty undergraduate degree programme in e-commerce in 1999. It suffices to search for my name online \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to working with you all.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/uosm2008\/files\/2014\/01\/olja.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-268\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/uosm2008\/files\/2014\/01\/olja-300x278.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of Olja Rastic-Dulborough\" width=\"300\" height=\"278\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My name is <a title=\"Olja's twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/call_me_olya\" target=\"_blank\">Olja<\/a>, I am a 3rd year undergraduate\u00a0in <a title=\"Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ecs.soton.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\">ECS<\/a>, studying <a title=\"MComp Information Technology in Organisations degree\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ecs.soton.ac.uk\/programmes\/mcomp-information-technology-organisations#modules\" target=\"_blank\">IT in Organisations<\/a>.\u00a0I took part in UOSM2008 last year, as an extra curricular, not for credit activity, following my participation in several <a title=\"Digichamp blog\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/digichamps\/\" target=\"_blank\">Digichamp<\/a> events. I wanted to push myself, as an <a title=\"27 problems only introverts will understand\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/erinlarosa\/problems-only-introverts-will-understand\" target=\"_blank\">introvert<\/a>, to open up more on social media, interact and learn from my peers. My online profile needed some help too. I didn&#8217;t expect it to be as much of a transforming experience as it was because I usually prefer to learn by myself. I couldn&#8217;t imagine my mind being changed from the initial go at each topic till the summary, but it happened. And it was great.<\/p>\n<p>Then I found out about <a title=\"About MOOCs\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mooc\" target=\"_blank\">MOOCs<\/a> and had an adventure of an internship with <a title=\"Centre for Innovation in Technologies and Education\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cite.soton.ac.uk\/about-cite\/\" target=\"_blank\">CITE<\/a> last summer, researching motivation of MOOC learners with the team who were working on the <a title=\"2nd Run of the Web Science MOOC offered by the University of Southampton\" href=\"https:\/\/www.futurelearn.com\/courses\/web-science-2014\" target=\"_blank\">Web Science<\/a> and other University of Southampton <a title=\"FutureLearn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.futurelearn.com\" target=\"_blank\">FutureLearn<\/a> MOOCs.<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to sharing my experiences and helping with any technical glitches, in the real world or the virtual one.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lisa is co-Director of the recently launched Web Science Institute, co-chair of the University&#8217;s Digital Economy Research Group and an Associate of the Institute for Learning, Innovation and Development (ILIaD).\u00a0 She looks after the MSc in Digital Marketing in the School of Management .
