From feedback from the other group members the meeting covered:<\/p>\n<p>Further discussion about possible names for the project, although none decided as yet.<\/p>\n<p>Discussion about criteria which needs to be fulfilled for the project to be successful, including: Ensuring the idea is innovative and new, and proving that we have taken steps necessary to confirm this, explaining how the idea fulfils the criteria of being &#8220;social&#8221;, what are the advantages of using our application, and what are the effects on social life.<\/p>\n<p>Development of a prototype will be an advantage and is something we will persue, and it was also decided that we would use survey&#8217;s to assess the usefulness of the application from a user&#8217;s perspective.<\/p>\n<p>A brief overview of the project plan was produced which is:<\/p>\n<ul>Look in the research papers and search for existence of this idea.<\/ul>\n<ul>Assign the roles and responsibilities to the persons<\/ul>\n<ul>What are the functionalities you are planning to provide<\/ul>\n<ul>What will be the impact of this on social life.<\/ul>\n<ul>Method that we will follow to achieve this<\/ul>\n<ul>What are the deadlines?<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\tThink of a name for the project<br \/>\n2.\tThe idea that you have thought has to be innovative and what are the methods that you have followed to make sure that the idea is new.<br \/>\n3.\tYou have to tell how this idea is new.<br \/>\n4.\tAlso search in web-cat and Google scholar to make sure that this idea is new.<br \/>\n5.\tHow this will support the social factors.<br \/>\n6.\tThe idea must be new and in case you can develop any prototype it will be an advantage.<br \/>\n7.\tConducting the survey and using the results to find out the usability<br \/>\n8.\tWhat are the advantages of this application.<br \/>\n9.\tWhat are the effects of this application on social life.<br \/>\n10.\tProject Plan<br \/>\n      \u2022\tLook in the research papers and search for existence of this idea.<br \/>\n      \u2022\tAssign the roles and responsibilities to the persons<br \/>\n      \u2022\tWhat are the functionalities you are planning to provide<br \/>\n      \u2022\tWhat will be the impact of this on social life.<br \/>\n      \u2022\tMethod that we will follow to achieve this<br \/>\n      \u2022\tWhat are the deadlines?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was absent for this meeting (for a valid reason which I would not like to publish on this blog).
