Hi all. My first year is over, in fact, it has been over for a while now. But I couldn\u2019t avoid taking my mind out off ECS for a while. I must admit that even if it is supposed to be the easiest one, year one knew how to stress me out from time to time.<\/p>\n
Anyhow, I am happy to announce that I have not failed any module and I do not have to re-sit any exams. Therefore, I am half-way through my four-month summer vacation worrying about nothing. My grades could have been better, in fact, I must admit that I was aiming higher, but I take it as a lesson. I feel stronger and readier now, to face year two, which is considered the harder one by a growing number of people.<\/p>\n
If I had to give any advice, I would say something like, \u2018Make sure you find out which is your best learning style\u2019. In my experience, year one throws at you several core modules, that might seem hard when you are going through them, but eventually you realize that it wasn\u2019t that bad. The main thing is to figure out how to organize your own time and how to face the music when it\u2019s time to.<\/p>\n
Being honest, I have to say that I am looking forward to year two. I know as a fact that I learned some pretty important things last year that will help me face what\u2019s coming.<\/p>\n
