As another coursework makes its way into the inner depths of the C-BASS handin service, I notice we’re almost at the end of a term!<\/p>\n
Before I go any further, I would like to point out that Helpdesk don’t mind you having your own projects (and in fact, they encourage it), just try and keep resource usage to a minimum. The bouncy dot was neither resource friendly (taking up at minimum two PCs in the lab), nor helpdesk-friendly. I promise I won’t do it again JD!<\/p>\n
So, I’ve not blogged in a while, and it’s mainly been work and assorted other things taking up my time.<\/p>\n
For Advanced Programming, we’ve been working with complex numbers, Mandelbrot sets and Julia sets – something whose algorithm is beyond me, but that didn’t stop me applying a little bit of help from ChaosPro to check my software was behaving. I’ve also been working on a group coursework for Formal Methods, which involves writing code in Event-B, using the Rodin Platform, which was part-authored by our lecturer.<\/p>\n
On Sunday I make my way home for Easter, and a much needed break, although I’m not sure how much of a break it’ll be given that I have two more courseworks due after Easter, and then it’ll be exams all over again.<\/p>\n
As a side note, for those who wondered, I managed to pass all my Part 1 exams – enough said there. They don’t count towards the final degree score, but that doesn’t stop them being important!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
