It\u2019s been a while since I last wrote a blog, but with several coursework deadlines, followed by a hectic exam period, I have failed to find the time to write one.<\/p>\n
The exam period was a busy time, as always, with Part II Computer Scientists having all of their exams in two blocks of consecutive exams, which made revision a nightmare, as it was difficult to choose which module to concentrate on in the days leading up to the exams. It also meant there was very little downtime between exams.<\/p>\n
Sport is starting to build up again after the exam period. ECS had their first football match for months (thanks to a combination of the exam period and the shocking pre-Christmas weather). It was another loss, but wasn\u2019t a bad performance. Hopefully the weather will not intervene as much in this term, and we will have a chance of finishing our fixtures.<\/p>\n
The cricket club\u2019s training is also starting to step up a gear, with the incredibly short season only a few months away. There have been several training sessions taking place at the Rosebowl, and the start of the much heralded inter-club indoor league, which adds a bit of competition to the pre-season build up, as well as being hugely enjoyable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
