Returning to ECS

Returning to ECS Having been back in the UK now for nearly two months, I am well settled into the lifestyle. This year I live in a bit of a multi-lingual household with a Spaniard, a Frenchman, and a German in addition to a couple of English freshers. It has been good fun getting to know everyone's quirks and we hardly ever fight over the shower in the mornings thanks to a rather scattered pattern of morning alarm clocks (I'm usually up first). Laid Back in the Halls

The spring term has just come to its conclusion with the time to pause and catch breath. The past week has seen some phenomenally nice weather; although this does seem to be the norm when coursework deadlines start to arrive. Everyone is So Friendly

Over a month has flown by now since I arrived at Southampton but at the same time it feels like I’ve been here forever. Settling into halls and this new style of life hasn’t been a problem, everyone is so friendly and easy to talk to - you can’t go wrong! It feels quite weird doing academic work again after such a long summer break but I’m glad to get back into the swing of things. Continue reading →
