I had exams, and they stopped me blogging. No, really, they were not easy, and it’s not A-level style papers all over again. Other than a few mishaps, which I will skip over for the sake of not going into a rant, I’m pretty confident I at least passed the exams. So that was two weeks of the past three.

What else? Oh yes, Multiplayer Tetris! While mucking about in the labs after my last exam, I started, with a little help from Jack and his Python knowledge, to write Multiplayer Tetris. I’ll admit it isn’t much of a new concept, but how about team multiplayer tetris. Every time a shape falls to the bottom of the grid, your grid moves to the next player that joined the game. It’s a simple concept, but probably takes a diagram to explain. Coding for fun has a tendency to upset helpdesk at the moment, so JD or Toby, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry!

And then the mountain of clubs & societies work has begun. Student Robotics has been kinda slow to get started this year with our funding application. I think I can do most of the work for the budget now and I’ll go over all that this evening….

Meanwhile, the paintball club (complete with new website at http://www.supc.org.uk), are in the process of frantically preparing for a tournament we’re running in 27 days time. 27 days!!! AAH! Best get back to sorting out all that second hand stuff we bought yesterday.
