Weather Improvement!

Hi everyone! Finally the weather has improved. The bright sunshine has spread all over, with some colourful flowers and lush green grass making it more beautiful.

Had a very nice time back home during easter, also had a taste of flight delays due to volcanic eruption but it was fun, getting 10 more days to spend with friends and family. It has been three weeks since I came back. It was a very sweet welcome by the busy schedule of labs and courseworks that I missed due to the delay. Anyhow, everything has passed now except the final barrier of semester 2 exams.

Semester 2 was amazing. I was pretty happy to learn about a lot of things that we never heard of. The best thing about studying here is the practical experience given to the students which makes learning much more interesting. We have been shaped up nicely to go smoothly into year 2. Some of the best things about this semester were designing PCB and the tune generator. It was the biggest lab and involved everything from loading designs into PLDs, soldering, making circuits … everything.

Now we are waiting desperately for the exams to finish so that we can go and play cricket with all friends. Also hope that they go well. I think that I should go and study for the paper tomorrow. Goodbye everyone. Enjoy the lovely summers of Southampton.
