Coursework Submitted and Easter is Here

Easter vacation is here already and somehow I have managed to fill it up. With a total of about 4 days where I am not doing anything and 5 courseworks set intended to be done over the holidays I don’t know where I am going to find time to sleep. A week of kayaking in Wales will be followed by a week on exercise with the military on Dartmoor, a week caving in Somerset, Easter weekend at home and a week of caving in Yorkshire leaving one weekend at the end to catch up with coursework and get some rest.
Having spent all of the last two days doing the courseworks with the soonest deadlines with a bit of packing in between I was starting to wonder if having such a busy Easter was a good idea. However, after having completed the first draft of a 20% piece of coursework about Fractal Patterns (like the Mandlebrot and Julia sets) I am confident that it will all work out in the end. The best thing was that as far as courseworks go this one was pretty rewarding and almost verging on fun.
This term started off nice and slow and it didn’t seem like there was too much work until all of a sudden everything seemed to happen at once. Courseworks were being set, rugby matches every week, canoe polo tournaments coming up and the military expecting me to spend time with them too. If university doesn’t force you to sort out your time management skills I don’t know what will! After all how else are you going to find time for the pub?
Before long exams will be round again and with so much content revision is going to be hard work. The modules are starting to make more sense now and areas of overlap allow you to see how it all fits together which makes understanding it all that little bit easier.
