The social network we intend to design is an app meant to bring together people who want to learn something new, practise their skills or help somebody. Upon registration, the new user will be able to identify the areas of human knowledge in which they are proficient in and select the skills they would like to acquire. The app will then match the new user with one or more existing users in the network, based on matching skills and geolocation.
A practical example may see John as a proficient Java programmer who wants to learn French and Annabel as a France native who is struggling in Java. The app will match them and put them in contact.
“The word SkillTed derives from Skills + Connected”
