Tuesday 7th<\/sup> of February:<\/p>\n In the SABA league, Sharks met Royals at the Jubilee and unfortunately, the Women lost 39 \u2013 54.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Wednesday 8th<\/sup> of February:<\/p>\n Home Game:<\/p>\n Last year Men\u2019s 3rd<\/sup> played a friendly game against the Men\u2019s 2nd<\/sup> and managed to win. This year, they were both in the same league and were inevitably going to play against each other. Men’s 3rd <\/sup>team really\u00a0 wanted to win once again and they did. Men\u2019s 3rd<\/sup> showed a lot of energy and were able to make many shots, whereas the 2nd<\/sup> team was playing a slower type of game style. The game was very tight but the Men\u2019s 3rd<\/sup> managed to pull it off in the end, 69 \u2013 71.<\/p>\n Away Games:<\/p>\n The Women\u2019s team went to Bournemouth to meet Bournemouth University Women\u2019s 1st<\/sup>. The local team were a very strong team which was still undefeated. Unfortunately, Sharks lost 75 \u2013 33.<\/p>\n The Men\u2019s 1st<\/sup> went to Exeter to play against Exeter University Men\u2019s 1st<\/sup>. Exeter was first in the league and undefeated. The first quarter wasn\u2019t good and the local team were winning with a large advantage. Sharks managed to come back in the second quarter but were still losing. Unfortunately, the second half didn\u2019t get better and Sharks lost 77 \u2013 50.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sunday 12th<\/sup> February:<\/p>\n Men\u2019s 1st<\/sup> met Reading Rockets at the Jubilee. This was a team which Sharks were more than capable of winning against. The first quarter went well and Southampton was slightly dominating 17 \u2013 13. The Second quarter was more or less the same but Rockets were able to win this quarter, 7 \u2013 9. Sharks seemed to be dominant during the game but Rockets were able to keep the score tight mostly thanks to fouls and errors Men\u2019s 1st<\/sup> did. The 3rd<\/sup> quarter kept on that same direction and Sharks won 14 \u2013 11. By that point, the home team was leading by 5 little points. Sadly, the last quarter didn\u2019t end how we would have wanted it to. Sharks lost their rhythm and Rockets were playing as hard as possible (4th<\/sup> quarter: 23 \u2013 13).
