Additionally, when viewing an individual record (e.g. Incident, Change etc) it displays the record number and short description.\u00a0 This helps differentiate between different windows for those who work with multiple tabs open.\u00a0 The favicon has also been changed to the University standard.\u00a0 To help differentiate between different instances, Dev and Pre-Prod have red and yellow icons.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2317\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/1.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"504\" height=\"55\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/1.jpg 504w, https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/1-300x33.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now that the first name field automatically sets to someone\u2019s AKA when one is available, the AKA field has been removed from certain forms as it has become redundant. Additionally, this addresses an issue where logging a call occasionally overwrote someone\u2019s AKA.<\/p>\n<p>The drop-down information on most user-related fields has been changed to present more useful details to help distinguish between individuals (department, account type etc).\u00a0 The information in the dropdown is also searchable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2318\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/2.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"377\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/2.jpg 377w, https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/2-300x116.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 377px) 100vw, 377px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Junk Email button has been added to the call list to allow the Service Desk to quickly manage junk emails in bulk.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2319\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/servicemanagement\/files\/2015\/05\/3.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"181\" height=\"53\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Activity Log on tickets now also shows changes to Assignment Group (this includes on all historical tickets).<\/p>\n<p>On very occasional circumstances, tickets were being created with duplicate numbers \u2013 this has now been addressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSubscribe\u201d has been changed to \u201cNotification Preferences\u201d to choose which emails a user wishes to receive or not.<\/p>\n<p>The Closed date is now correctly showing as the date when the system closes the ticket (5 days after resolution) instead of the same time as Resolved.\u00a0 This shows on tickets logged 06\/05\/15 onwards.<\/p>\n<p>Cancelled Problems are now no longer set to Active.<\/p>\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-2316\" data-postid=\"2316\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-2316 themify_builder themify_builder_front\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n<!-- \/themify_builder_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The default tab title has been changed to \u201cUoS ServiceNow\u201d.
