The Sustainable Energy Research Group (SERG)<\/a> is part of the Energy and Climate Change Division <\/a>(ECCD)<\/a> within the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment<\/a> at the University of Southampton.<\/p>\n

The Sustainable Energy Research Group (SERG<\/a>) aims to promote and undertake fundamental and applied research related to the efficient use of energy in the built environment. This is alongside pre-industrial development in the areas of renewable energy technologies. SERG undertakes research in core areas of energy, specifically in Cities and Infrastructure<\/a>, Energy for Development<\/a>, Data and Modelling<\/a>, Energy and Behaviour<\/a>, Energy and Buildings<\/a>, Environmental Impacts<\/a>, Microgeneration Technologies<\/a> and Renewable Energy<\/a> (Solar Photovoltaics<\/a> and Marine Energy<\/a>).
