{"id":753,"date":"2013-05-16T09:48:54","date_gmt":"2013-05-16T09:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.blogs.soton.ac.uk\/serg\/?page_id=753"},"modified":"2015-11-04T16:05:37","modified_gmt":"2015-11-04T16:05:37","slug":"education","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/serg\/education\/","title":{"rendered":"Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">MSc Programmes in Energy and Sustainability<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">The\u00a0Sustainable Energy Research Group (SERG) is actively involved in the University of Southampton\u2019s MSc programmes in &#8216;Energy and Sustainability&#8217; which have been designed to equip the next generation of energy professionals with the multidisciplinary approach required to tackle climate change while improving energy supply, transport and the built environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.energymasters.soton.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Energy and Sustainability MSc Programmes<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Energy Resources and Engineering<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Part 4 \/ MSc Course<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Members of the\u00a0Sustainable Energy Research Group (SERG)<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span>are running the Part 4 \/ MSc &#8216;Energy Resources and Engineering&#8217; course which deals with various aspects of energy generation, distribution and consumption, carbon legislation and energy efficiency measures. The course aims to give the students a broad understanding of the issues from a 3 stage resource \u2013 converter \u2013 end user perspective to enable the development of engineering solutions.
