European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC)<\/a><\/h4>\n

\"ewtec2015_logo-1024x488\"<\/a>The European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC) series comprises international, technical and scientific conferences, focused on ocean renewable energy. Prof AbuBakr Bahaj is currently on the Secretariat of the Executive Committee.

Intelligent Agents for Home Energy Management<\/a><\/h4>\n

A three year project between 2010-2013 to apply novel artificial intelligence approaches to develop intelligent agents that will enable domestic consumers to visualise, understand and manage their energy use.<\/p>\n

Communities<\/a><\/h4>\n

This is a\u00a0four-year study to assess the impact of community greening groups on a roll-out of insulation upgrades in privately owned housing.<\/p>\n

EPSRC Eco-region Research Networks<\/a><\/h4>\n

A joint initiative with UCL, Arup and Imperial College, this builds research networks in the fields of sustainable urban design and planning, with academia, companies and local government in China.<\/p>\n

HYLOW<\/a><\/h4>\n

The group’s Fp7 project on low head hydro-power finished\u00a0in February 2013.<\/p>\n
