If you have a questions, please ask!<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is ORCID?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ORCID is an open, non-profit, community-driven effort to create and maintain a registry of unique researcher identifiers and a transparent method of linking research activities and outputs to these identifiers. ORCID research IDs are being used worldwide by researchers to uniquely identify themselves and their work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does this pilot link in with other initiatives?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the UK, the Soton pilot is part of a<a href=\"http:\/\/orcidpilot.jiscinvolve.org\/\"> larger pilot<\/a> funded by JISC.
