His book \u2018Empire: What Ruling the World Did to the British\u2019 has been the focal point for the inaugural <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/onebook\/\" target=\"_blank\">One Book, One Southampton<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0project.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/isoton.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/01\/jeremy_paxman.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-16328 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/isoton.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/01\/jeremy_paxman.jpg?w=400&amp;h=215\" alt=\"Jeremy Paxman.\" width=\"400\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong>\u00a0We are delighted with the high demand on attending the lecture with Jeremy. All spaces are now filled, so we have added a waiting list option to the Eventbrite page, where we hope to accommodate as many staff and students as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Students and staff are invited to join Jeremy as he leads a lecture on the themes raised in his book.
