{"id":1620,"date":"2016-01-30T23:14:38","date_gmt":"2016-01-30T23:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/music\/?p=1620"},"modified":"2016-01-30T23:14:38","modified_gmt":"2016-01-30T23:14:38","slug":"conductus-iii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/music\/2016\/01\/30\/conductus-iii\/","title":{"rendered":"Conductus III"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Professor Mark Everist has been leading the \u2018Cantum pulcriorem invenire\u2019 (CPI) project at the University of Southampton since 2010; it has brought to life the repertory of twelfth- and thirteenth-century poetry and music \u2013 known as the <em>conductus<\/em> \u2013 through research, performance and recording. The third and final recording \u2013 <em>Conductus III<\/em> \u2013 has just been released. Like the previous two recordings, it contains a range of <em>conducti<\/em> for one, two and three voices, for the most part not performed for around 750 years.
