Pupils enjoyed a session on practical geometry finding the largest cylinder that can be made from a sheet of A4 paper, a pirate-themed mathematical treasure hunt and some outdoor mathematics activities, which included a simultaneous equations egg and spoon race! The day also included a short talk on the the value of taking A level mathematics.
