The Lifelab project has a new blog.<\/p>\n<div id=\"v-content\">\n<div id=\"primary\" class=\"content-area\">\n<article id=\"post-11\" class=\"post-11 page type-page status-publish hentry\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.southampton.ac.uk\/lifelab\/index.page?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LifeLab<\/a>\u00a0was first initiated in\u00a02008 at the University of Southampton.\u00a0It has continued to develop\u00a0through the\u00a0collaboration of researchers\u00a0from the University\u2019s\u00a0<a title=\"Southampton Education School\" href=\"http:\/\/www.southampton.ac.uk\/education\">Education School<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Faculty of Medicine\" href=\"http:\/\/www.southampton.ac.uk\/medicine\">Faculty of Medicine<\/a>, and the\u00a0<a title=\"Mathematics and Science Learning Centre\" href=\"http:\/\/www.southampton.ac.uk\/education\/cpd\/index.page?\">Mathematics and Science Learning Centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">LifeLab\u00a0draws on these researchers\u2019 findings and combines them with research evidence from elsewhere to raise teenagers\u2019 awareness and interest in the science underpinning health issues, and make positive changes to adolescent health-related attitudes. LifeLab works in close partnership with LENScience in Auckland, and this was recently strengthened further through the awarding of funding from the BUPA Foundation to carry out an international evaluation of the intervention in both locations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<footer class=\"entry-footer\"><\/footer>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"v-widgets-content\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good news!
