{"id":1106,"date":"2016-10-10T13:15:01","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T12:15:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/mshe\/?p=1106"},"modified":"2016-10-06T13:16:09","modified_gmt":"2016-10-06T12:16:09","slug":"free-access-to-articles-on-mathematics-teachers-as-partners-in-task-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/mshe\/free-access-to-articles-on-mathematics-teachers-as-partners-in-task-design\/","title":{"rendered":"Free access to articles on Mathematics Teachers as Partners in Task Design"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To mark <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldteachersday.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">World Teachers&#8217; Day<\/a> (on October 5), the publisher Springer is offering free open access to a selection of journals and book chapters and has chosen to include the recent special double-issue of the <a href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/journal\/10857\" target=\"_blank\">Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education<\/a> on the topic of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/journal\/10857\/19\/2\/page\/1\" target=\"_blank\">Mathematics Teachers as Partners in Task Design<\/a>&#8221; published earlier this year. The special double-issue was co-edited by MSHE member <a href=\"http:\/\/www.southampton.ac.uk\/education\/about\/staff\/dkj.page\" target=\"_blank\"> Keith Jones<\/a> and the papers include a state-of-the-art review entitled <i><a href=\"http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1007\/s10857-016-9345-z\" target=\"_blank\">Research on mathematics teachers as partners in task design<\/a><\/i> co-written by Keith.
