Steve White<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n
Steve White<\/a> is a PhD student in Web Science at the University of Southampton, and is a member of the MOOCs and Learning group. He is based in the Web Science Doctoral Training Centre<\/a> at the university. His supervisors are Dr Su White<\/a> (Associate Professor in Web and Internet Science) and Julie Watson<\/a> (Principal Teaching Fellow \\ Head of eLanguages).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He is researching online learning, with a particular focus on learning design, learning theory and the impact of MOOCs on educators and learning designers in Higher Education. Steve is currently researching the applicability of Socio-Technical Interaction Networks (Meyer, 2006<\/a>) as a method for studying the impact of MOOCs in HE.<\/div>\n
