Are all digital platform truly effective?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Upon reviewing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/edwardting.wordpress.com\/2015\/11\/05\/how-professional-is-your-online-profile\/#comments\" >Edward<\/a>\u2019s blog, I was really captivated by his style\u00a0of blogging by drawing reader\u2019s attention through his <strong>personal experiences<\/strong> as well as linking to the area of <em>Singapore affairs<\/em>.\u00a0It reminded me of a news article\u00a0with regards to a Singapore politician, Ms Tin Pei Ling. Ms Tin faced several criticisms for posting a selfie with her new Kate Spade Bag on FaceBook in year 2011. Hence, a point which I had failed\u00a0to mention for topic 3 earlier- \u00a0be extremely caution of what you post! A very creative post through utilization of <strong>GIFs and various interaction medias,\u00a0<\/strong>she had approached the topic from a very <strong>unique perspective<\/strong>. Just like every <strong>\u2018tools\u2019<\/strong> in a garage, every digital platform has its strength and shortcomings in areas of recruitment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lifeofpatblog.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/11\/imcf1.png\"><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-433\" src=\"https:\/\/lifeofpatblog.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/11\/imcf1.png?w=369&#038;h=198\" alt=\"IMCF1\" width=\"369\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Source from:\u00a0http:\/\/buytheway.annenbergcourse.org\/integrated-marketing-communications-then-and-now\/<\/p>\n<p>For example: Blogging might had opened up potential spaces for you to \u2018present\u2019 more of yourself, but just like a double edged knife, the probability of you posting something negative increases and what are the chances of you really getting noticed by a chief executive of a big firm at the first place?\u00a0Could it be that a certain mix of digital platforms create a better synergy such as the theory behind integrated marketing communications?
