This project, funded by the university&#8217;s Education Enhancement Fund, aims to create a greater awareness of the range and potential of intercultural activities \u00a0in order to develop a more rounded profile for Southampton as an International University.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will be a mixture of traditional presentations, workshops, demonstrations, interactive discussions and panels.\u00a0We welcome papers from all students and staff, both Professional Services and academic staff.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this conference is to provide opportunities for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>students and staff to share intercultural and international experiences and research\u00a0at the university both inside and outside the classroom<\/li>\n<li>develop new ideas to improve intercultural and international experiences for all<\/li>\n<li>networking and forming collaborations across the university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To find\u00a0out more about the Intercultural Connections Southampton project, please visit our website: blog.soton.ac.uk\/ics<\/p>\n<p>Proposals should be no more than 300 words.<br \/>\nSubmission deadline: Friday 20th February 2015.<br \/>\nNotification of outcome: Wednesday 4th March 2015<\/p>\n<p>Selection criteria: Submissions will be evaluatated by a selection panel of the conference organisers.
