We have\u00a0come to the end of\u00a0our first week working with the project and we have to say – we are\u00a0SO excited to see where we\u00a0can\u00a0take it this summer! The previous interns Caitlin and Nancy have done a fantastic job, what with the Welcome to Our World festival in February, the regular Intercultural Cafes as well as all of the other things they have done to encourage a stronger and better connected community here on campus and around Southampton. We truly hope that we can follow in your footsteps and take this project further as we can see from the success\u00a0your events that this project has so much potential.<\/p>\n

Before we truly\u00a0get started, we would like to introduce ourselves to you.<\/p>\n

There are three of us this summer: Megan Byrne, Caterina Balzano and Rahul RP\u00a0Nair. We\u00a0are all from very\u00a0diverse backgrounds,\u00a0study at three different\u00a0faculties\u00a0and speak\u00a06 languages between us (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and Malayalam). We have some very\u00a0fun ideas for this summer and the next academic year so follow us on Facebook<\/a>, Instagram\u00a0and Twitter if you haven’t already done so to make sure you don’t miss any updates.<\/p>\n
