Monday 7th July 2014

11-12pm	Arrival, registration & refreshments at Mountbatten Building Welcome by Prof Mark Nixon and an introduction to the week by the Headstart Team.
1-2pm	Buffet Lunch at Piazza
2-5pm	Practical lab session: The teaching chip, Dr Stewart Smith, from University of Edinburgh
5pm	Free time and pizza on campus
6pm	ARM team challenge
	End of day and check into rooms.

Tuesday 8th July 2014

8:30am	Breakfast (Continental or full english)
9:30-1:15pm	Lecture:Processors, interfacing, Programming.                  Dr Steve Greedy: University of Nottingham. Lab session
1:15pm	Buffet Lunch on Campus
2:15-5pm	Lecture: Radio Frequency power ampilfiers: Professor Johannes Benedict, Cardiff University Year in Industry talk: Peter Senior Refreshments GRAPEVINE talks
5pm-7:30pm	BBQ and networking
7:30pm	Free time and challenge planning in Halls.

Wednesday 9th July 2014

	Walk to campus
8:00am	Breakfast (Continental or full english)
9am – 6pm	Visit to Thales or Science Technology Research Council. You will be getting a coach for this visit.
1:15pm	Packed lunch provided.
6pm – 9pm	Boat trip around the Solent and a chance to meet current students and lecturers. Buffet dinner provided.
9pm	Coach to halls

1:15pm	Buffet Lunch on Campus
2:15-5pm	Lecture: They what, why and how of bioelectronics: University of York & A bioinspired arificial pancreas for type 1 diabetes: Dr Pantlis Georgiou, Imperial University. Refreshments and lab tours
5pm-7:30pm	Free time and challenge planning. Take away night – choice of take aways in the local area!

9:30-2pm	Lecture: Careers Presentation preparation Wind-up and feedback Team presentations with buffet lunch.
2pm	Optional Tour of campus with parents, with opportunity to talk to lecturers and students.
