University staff and students in partnership with\u00a0students from three of the city&#8217;s six form colleges will be performing a\u00a0thoughtful and sensitive production of the1997 adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank, by Wendy Kesselman.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/evoice\/files\/2014\/01\/John-Hansard-Yinka-Shonibare-Nelsons-Ship-in-a-Bottle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-167 alignleft\" alt=\"John Hansard - Yinka Shonibare Nelson's Ship in a Bottle\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/evoice\/files\/2014\/01\/John-Hansard-Yinka-Shonibare-Nelsons-Ship-in-a-Bottle-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hansardgallery.org.uk\/event-detail\/137-ship-to-shore-art-and-the-lure-of-the-sea\/\" target=\"_blank\">John Hansard Gallery &#8211; 8 February\u00a0&#8211; 4 May<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ship to Shore: Art and the Lure of the Sea<\/strong> is a new exhibition across two venues that explores how contemporary artists have engaged with seas and oceans. The exhibition is an intriguing visual feast of paintings, films, photography and prints alongside archival objects, evoking vast ocean expanses, the romance of sea travel and ship-to-shore communications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionfilms.org\/films\/reviews\/zaytoun.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-285\" alt=\"zaytoun-150x150\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/evoice\/files\/2013\/12\/zaytoun-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/evoice\/files\/2013\/12\/zaytoun-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blog.soton.ac.uk\/evoice\/files\/2013\/12\/zaytoun-150x150-50x50.jpg 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>Phoenix films showing &#8216;Zaytoun&#8217;- Wednesday 12 February<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>University staff can come and view all Phoenix films on campus which are a bargain compared to normal cinema prices.
