This month the University welcomed HRH The Countess of Wessex to the University, to officially open LifeLab, the facility that aims to empower school students to take more control over their health.

Leading the way in online techonology, this month, Professor Dame Wendy Hall, Dean of Physical Sciences and Engineering, was named as the most influential woman in IT in the UK.

Congratulations to our professors who have been named as ‘The Most Influential Scientific Minds 2014’ with expertise in nutrition, immunology, cardiovascular science, biochemistry, biological science, chemistry and materials science.
