The activities are specifically designed to support the development of all staff including academics, professional services, technical, community and operational staff.<\/p>\n<p>Based within the PDU is the University&#8217;s Researcher Development and Graduate Centre (RDGC) whose aim is to enhance the research-centered learning and personal development of postgraduate students through promotion of shared opportunities for learning and generic skills training.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.southampton.ac.uk\/pdu\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Professional Development Unit (PDU)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University Strategy includes a commitment to &#8216;developing our people&#8217;, enabling each individual to reach their full potential and achieve both individual and collective excellence.
