Young Contemporary Talent 2018 – Purchase Prize

PURCHASE PRIZE

NOW OPEN FOR 2018 ENTRIES
Our annual Purchase Prize Exhibition exists to celebrate and support the work of young artists at the outset of their careers, and is open to all artists who have graduated from a UK art school within the last three years.  This year’s exhibition will take place from 22 – 26 November 2018 at The Cello Factory in London, and the deadline for entries is 5 p.m. on Monday 17 September.

All applications will be reviewed by a panel including Jo Baring, Director & Curator of The Ingram Collection.

Successful finalists will have their works exhibited at The Cello Factory exhibition, and up to three works will be purchased to join The Ingram Collection.  One of the Prize-winning artists will be invited to put on a solo show at the Art Fund Prize-winning gallery, The Lightbox, in December 2019.

All other selected works will be available for sale during the exhibition for a commission of 20% of the selling price.  This percentage will go back into funding The Ingram Collection’s work with young artists.

This year’s exhibition is generously sponsored by
