Next visit to RNOH all set
The team will be visiting the RNOH to follow-up the changes made to VRIC after implementing end-user requirements. The visit is to take place on the 1st of September and we are looking forward to getting feedback on the new features of VRIC and the development work of the past weeks.
The Train Ride Home
Well the system is successfully deployed at RNOH, and Simon has done his normal sales pitch to the people who would be using the system. And they seem pleased with it, they do ask about version of the information, so that changes can be reviewed and also parts can be ‘rolled’ by.
As part of the installion the new SVN repos layout was installed along with a small batch file (which is also under source control so it can be updated with ease too) that does some of the ‘ Heavy lifting’, hopefully once SVN updates over ssh+svn:// can be performed from the command line the script can do the whole thing. Give us a simple ‘Click to update’ icon on the desktop.
Nanu-Nanu!
