Wednesday 15th of February:
Men’s 2nd team met UWE at the Jubilee and won 74 – 67.
Men’s 3rd team went to Southampton Solent University but unfortunately lost their cup game against their Men’s 2nd, 82 – 37.
Men’s 1st went to the University of Nottingham to play against their first team for a cup game. It was a tight game. Nottingham got the lead in the first half but Sharks didn’t let go and started to play zone defence which stopped the home team from putting too many points in. Unfortunately, Soton didn’t manage to tie the game and lost 59 – 49.
Saturday 18th of February:
Men’s 1st met Oxford Stealers at the Jubilee, it was a team against which they could win. The first quarter was tied 22 all, however, the second quarter didn’t go well at all and Sharks lost the quarter, 12 – 25. Despite the efforts the men put in the second half, it was not enough to win the game and Sharks lost, 64 – 75.
Sunday 19th of February:
Sharks B played against the Badgers (Medics) team and unfortunately lost, 24 – 18.
Sharks A did not play against the Swifts because the game was cancelled.
