1. Hello everyone, today I will introduce a brand new social network app called RankFirst on Android. The core idea of RankFirst is to rank user’s social networks information by the statistics of mobile phone’s social activities like sending messages, making phone calls, video calls and real meetings. As we can see the slogan on login page, RankFirst aims to “Make you and your closest friends closer”.

2. User provides the registered email address and password to login into the app.
If user hasn’t registered the app yet, he/she should go to sign up page by pressing sign up button and complete the registration.

3. After the login or registration, RankFirst ranks mobile phone’s contacts automatically. This process would take a few seconds.

4. Then we can see a list of ranked contacts in a descending order under the contacts ranking view. The more front the position of a contact is in the list, the higher frequency the communication between user and the contact has. User could search one particular contact by taping the contact’s name in the searching box. By enabling the footprint tab, user shares the current location with the corresponding contact. The green mark notices user that the contact has some social networks updates.

5. User could press the gear tap to setting the app, which includes settings of Personal details, languages, sound effects, Push Notification, and binding social networks. User could also logout the app in this page. Then we go back by pressing the back tab.

6. Now we select a contact called Chen Jia to enter his information page. In the Profile view, we could see Chen’s current location on this google map by pressing the refresh tab. This is because Chen shares his location with me on his RankFirst app. Chen’s telephone numbers and email address could also be viewed and we can make phone calls by clicking on the numbers and send a message by clicking on the SMS mark. The information on this page could be edited.

7. Then we select the statistics view. We could select the time mode to see the information in different year and month scale. In this case, we could see the statistics of overall times, phone calls, Sending messages, video calls and real meetings by 9.May, 2012. The communication details are listed at the bottom of the screen.

8. Now we go to Chen’s social view. We could slide at the top of the screen to select the target social network. Take Facebook as an example. The information is organized by five categories: Photos, status, news, notes and links. Then we go back by pressing the back tab.

9. We select the social networks view. This view looks similar with the previous contact’s social view but it combines the social networks information of all contacts. The information could be selected to display in two ranking modes. The first one is called Rank First, which ranks the information based on the communication frequencies with all the contacts in a descending order. The second mode is called Most Recent, which ranks the information based on the time dimension. Other functions are the same with the contact’s social view.

10. In conclusion, RankFirst could make you and your closest friends closer and I believe it will be a very popular app. Thank you!
