I finally get to write my thoughts in a blog. Not sure if its a such a good idea . Anyways thought this is a good opportunity to take a break from everything else thats been happening. I am a MSc Software Engineering student and currently a summer intern developer at Cypher IT , a healthcare software development company based in “namma”(our) Southampton. I started my internship a couple of weeks earlier than the other excel internships . I figured I’d be better off working in June itself as I am definitely not going to start off my MSc project that early. Looks like it going to be quite a challenge to balance both dissertation and an internship. Less sleep and more energy drinks is my strategy .  Anyways the first two weeks have been pretty good. I got my first payment ..yipee !! Other than the technical learning what I am excited about is getting to learn what it takes to manage and run a software company and how to look at problems from a business point of view.

First Lesson Learnt : Be ON TIME !! 9 am .. make that 8.55 !

Jokes apart.. very fortunate to get such a wonderful internship opportunity… Looking forward for an exciting summer!!
