Dr. Sylvia Pender is one of the founders of the USIF (University of Southampton Internationalisation Forum). She is the International Student Advisor at the Faculty of Medicine since 2003, received the Vice Chancellor’s award in 2010 for promoting internationalisation in the University and Global Partnership Award in 2013 to enhance international research links. Sylvia offers pastoral support to postgraduate and undergraduate international students to enhance their student experience and assisted with educational quality assurance for the Faculty. Sylvia was recruited to the Faculty International and Enterprise Group in 2012 to promote international student recruitment worldwide. She becomes Associate Director International in Faculty of Medicine in 2013.
