The Intercultural Connections Southampton ran from 2014-2016. It is not currently active, but if you would like to know more about intercultural activities at Southampton, please contact Jill Doubleday, Academic Centre for International Students on J.Doubleday@soton.ac.uk
Following our very successful launch event, we are delighted to announce that our second Intercultural Staff Cafe will take place on Thursday 10 November 2016 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, in the Nuffield Kitchen. This is an opportunity to meet our new Vice-President for Internationalisation, Professor Colin Grant. He will be with us from 2.45 to 3.00. We’ll also have free drinks and cakes.
The cafe is open to all University of Southampton staff, including PGR students. It’s a drop-in event, so you can come for as much time as you can spare – you don’t need to be there for the whole two hours. It’s a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the university. It’s free, but please book by Monday 7 November so that we can ensure we have enough refreshments for everyone.

The presentation will be followed by discussion of the findings, and our aim is to generate concrete ideas for ways in which we can improve your experience of intercultural working. Spaces for this event are limited to 40 people, so please register by Wednesday 14 September on Eventbrite here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/working-interculturally-seminar-tickets-27211421093
